FeedCanvas
Privacy Policy
This policy explains what data FeedCanvas processes, why it is needed, and how merchants can contact us about their data.
Data we process
FeedCanvas processes the shop domain, Shopify installation and session information, product and variant catalog data, inventory quantities, feed configuration, field mappings, generated feed metadata, and subscription status required to provide the service. The app does not request customer, order, or payment-card data.
How we use data
- Create, validate, update, and publish merchant product feeds.
- Keep feed content synchronized with product and inventory changes.
- Authenticate the installed shop and enforce plan access.
- Diagnose errors, protect the service, and prevent abuse.
Sharing and public feeds
We do not sell merchant data. Product data is shared only through feed URLs that the merchant chooses to publish and with service providers needed to host and operate FeedCanvas. A published feed URL can be accessed by anyone who has that URL, so merchants should share it only with intended channels and partners.
Storage, security, and retention
Data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections. We apply access controls and operational safeguards appropriate to the data processed. Sessions are removed when FeedCanvas is uninstalled. Feed configurations belonging to a merchant with paid access can be retained until the end of the already-paid billing period so they can be restored after reinstall. Feed data for merchants without paid access is removed on uninstall. All retained store data is deleted within Shopify's required redaction period, except for limited records that must be retained for legal, security, or billing purposes.
Merchant choices
Merchants can unpublish or delete feeds from the app and can uninstall FeedCanvas from Shopify. Requests to access, correct, or delete data can be sent to the contact address below.
